Please read the information below
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by World Class Certified Grading and its affiliates (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”). By submitting cards for grading or engaging in any of our services, you agree to the following terms. WCC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without prior notice.
Acceptance of Submissions
World Class Certified Grading accepts private submissions for card grading. By submitting your cards, you agree to the evaluation process outlined herein. All submissions must comply with our submission guidelines, including providing accurate and complete information regarding the item(s) submitted.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions must follow the procedures listed on our website to ensure proper processing. Cards must be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. World Class Certified Grading is not responsible for any damage to cards that occurs before they are received at our facility. Any false or misleading information submitted by the customer may result in the rejection of a submission.
Evaluation Timeline
We strive to evaluate and return submitted cards within the estimated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and World Class Certified Grading cannot guarantee specific turnaround times. We reserve the right to extend the processing period as needed and will communicate any substantial delays to our customers.
Insurance & Liability
While in transit or during the grading process, your cards are insured up to a limit based on the declared value submitted with the item. It is the responsibility of the submitter to declare the accurate value of their cards. World Class Certified Grading will not be liable for losses exceeding the declared value or in cases where no value is declared.
Grading is Subjective
The grades assigned to cards are subjective opinions of our trained employees, based on our proprietary grading criteria. The assigned grade is not a guarantee of future value or resale price, and World Class Certified Grading assumes no responsibility for discrepancies between the submitted grade and other third-party grading evaluations.
Authenticity & Alterations
While we inspect cards for possible alterations or counterfeiting, World Class Certified Grading does not guarantee the authenticity of any item. We are not responsible for certifying the originality or legality of a card. Customers assume all risk regarding the potential authenticity of their cards and cannot hold World Class Certified Grading accountable for grading altered or counterfeit items that are not detected during the grading process.
No Guarantee of Market Value
The grade assigned to any card by World Class Certified Grading is an opinion and does not imply any warranty as to the card’s future resale value. Card values fluctuate based on market demand, and World Class Certified Grading is not responsible for any financial losses incurred due to changes in the card’s value after grading.
Non-Liability For Market Fluctuation
While we inspect cards for possible alterations or counterfeiting, World Class Certified Grading does not guarantee the authenticity of any item. We are not responsible for certifying the originality or legality of a card. Customers assume all risk regarding the potential authenticity of their cards and cannot hold World Class Certified Grading accountable for grading altered or counterfeit items that are not detected during the grading process.
Employee Sales & Grading
Employees and owners of World Class Certified Grading are permitted to submit, grade, and sell WCC-graded cards. This does not constitute a conflict of interest, and all items submitted or sold by employees are subject to the same rigorous grading standards applied to all customers.
Limited Warranty & Disclaimer
World Class Certified Grading provides grading results “as is” and disclaims any express or implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No warranty is given that a graded card will receive a similar or higher grade from another grading service or that it will maintain or increase in value over time.
Liability Limitation
In no event shall World Class Certified Grading, its affiliates, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or value, arising out of or in connection with the grading, sale, or purchase of any card. Our maximum liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the fees paid for the grading services provided.
Liability For Slab Condition
Once a card has been graded and returned, World Class Certified Grading is not liable for any damage, cracks, or alterations to the slab that may occur after it is no longer in our possession. Customers are expected to take reasonable care of their graded cards and slabs.
Slab Integrity
Please be advised that our card slabs are not ultrasonically welded, and while they are designed to provide a secure encasement for graded cards, there may be instances where the slabs can be pried apart. We recommend handling all slabs with care to prevent damage.
Label Quality
The labels affixed to our graded cards may exhibit slight imperfections, discoloration, or variations in print quality. These aesthetic discrepancies do not affect the grading assessment and should be considered normal.
